Alex Mason and Ethan Lee
Alex is one of our newest staff members. He is always anxious to meet and greet customers. His main focus now is dusting and adjusting merchandise on the lower shelves. His goals include moving up the ladder to peg hooks and upper shelves. His expertise in puzzle solving is a great asset. He is also teaching Ethan all aspects of the hardware store.
Lenny Goldfarb
Lenny has been in the hardware business for over 40 years. The knowledge he has accumulated is evident everyday as he helps his customers get through the infinite number of issues that arise when dealing with their homes and businesses. Always quick to diffuse exasperating situations, Lenny has an uncanny ability to not only give world class service, but also offer solutions, alternatives, and suggest improvements.
As a young boy, Lenny’s curiosity as to how and why things work made his lifelong career choice an easy one. Often he would disassemble, make changes and reassemble whatever the tool, appliance or motorized piece of equipment was most of the time resulting in something new and improved or at least something that would better fit his needs. His customers enjoy his understanding nature and the way he breaks down the big project into something easier to handle.
His motto “taking the hard out of hardware” is something he stresses to his employees. He is the first one to say that everyone has their unique specialty, and there is no such thing as a dumb question.
With all the choices in today’s market, Lenny makes sure his store not only grows with the times and consistently meets the needs of his customers, but most important, treats every customer as a guest, friend, and neighbor. His customer service is second to none.
The ladies behind the scenes that help make everything work so well. Their help in running the office and other special projects is what makes everything else work so well. Although they are not as visible in the store, everything they do is invaluable.
